Job description We are looking for a Data Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to join an international team working on high-impact data projects. The role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining scalable and reliable data pipelines in cloud environments. The position is hybrid in Milan (2 days per week on-site). Your missions Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines Build and optimize cloud-based data architectures using Databricks and AWS Develop robust, scalable, and high-performance data solutions Ensure data quality, reliability, and security across the data lifecycle Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments Optimize existing data processes and propose automation improvements Support monitoring, troubleshooting, and production issues related to data pipelines Your profile 3–5 years of experience as a Data Engineer Strong knowledge of Python Hands-on experience with Databricks Solid knowledge of AWS services (e.g. S3, EC2, Glue, Redshift or similar) Experience with modern data architectures (data lakes, data warehouses) Experience working in Agile environments Fluent English and fluent Italian are mandatory Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset What we offer An international community with 110+ nationalities Clear and merit-based career paths Continuous training through our internal Academy (250+ available modules) Hybrid working model based in Milan Dynamic and collaborative work environment with regular internal events Strong commitment to CSR initiatives through the WeCare Together program Diversity and Inclusion Amaris Consulting is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
