Senior DHSE Engineer

We are looking for a Senior HSE Design Engineer to join our Engineering Team in Milan.

Responsibilities

Review contractual technical documentation and requirements. Prepare the deliverables issued by DHSE discipline: hazardous area classifications, HSED Plans/ Philosophies, active and passive fire safety specifications, close-out reports of workshops performed during the Project, etc. Review third Party Risk assessment studies (like FERA, QRA, dispersion analysis, dropped object study, EIA, noise study, RAM analysis). Perform hydraulic analysis for fire water networks design/verification. Review Vendor documentation relevant to Fire Fighting Equipment and interact with Suppliers for the technical issues (Vendor follow-up). Participate to HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, SIMOPS and others Risk Assessment and Safety Equipment workshops. Perform/participate to the squad checks. Review Tender Documentation and prepare clarification requests during bid phase. Plan his work to meet the given schedule.

Requirements

DHSE Engineering background Specialization in Fire Prevention / Firefighting is mandatory Knowledge of main DHSE international codes, standards and best engineering practices (API, IEC, NFPA, etc) Experience in DHSE Engineering in EPC Oil & Gas/Petrochemical/Energy projects (minimum 5 years) English fluency is essential, French highly desirable Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering Good proficiency of software used for DJSE Activities
