. You’ll be the first Paid Media hire in the country. This is a leadership-track role: you’ll own Paid from day one, set the standards, and build the team as we grow.
The Role
We’re hiring a
SEM Specialist (PPC & Social Ads) for our
Milan office
. You’ll manage and grow multi-channel performance programs (Google Ads, Meta, Linked In, and more), working closely with a Team Lead—while also shaping how our Paid department operates.
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Milan, with the possibility of flexible work-from-home arrangements. As the Performance Marketing Team Lead, you will oversee and manage a team of marketing professionals, ensuring the success of Performance Marketing campaigns, including SEA, PPC, and Social Ads. Responsibilities include developing and executing strategies to drive digital growth, managing budgets efficiently, monitoring campaign performance, collaborating across departments, and mentoring team members to achieve their professional goals while ensuring delivery of client objectives. We are looking for:
3–5 years experience in e Commerce Paid Media
Strong hands-on Google Ads (Shopping, PMAX) and Meta
Solid understanding of profitability, ROAS and scaling logic
Structured and analytical thinker
Reliable execution and attention to detail
Comfortable supporting client conversations
Able to contribute to upsells, but not required to lead sales
Strong working knowledge of
GA4 (required) and
Looker Studio
Google certifications (Skillshop):
Search, Display, Shopping, Analytics
(or equivalent)
Degree or training in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Business (or similar)
Detail-oriented, solution-driven, proactive, and comfortable thinking beyond “standard playbooks”
Nice-to-haves
Additional languages (especially
German

Certifications in
Meta Blueprint

Responsibilities
Own and manage
Paid Media projects
Build, optimize, and scale campaigns across:
Search, Display, Shopping, Remarketing, You Tube, Microsoft Ads, Meta, Linked In
Monitor and improve
profitability and performance
at client level (not just vanity metrics)
Identify opportunities and act fast: testing roadmaps, creative angles, landing page improvements, feed optimizations, tracking fixes
Proactive client communication via email, calls, meetings, and presentations
Stay ahead of platform updates, betas, and new tools—then translate them into real client results
Contribute to building the Paid function: processes, QA standards, reporting frameworks, and eventually
team hiring and mentoring
