Summary Our client is a rapidly expanding renewable energy developer focused on utility-scale Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage (BESS) projects across Italy.

With multiple projects under construction and a significant authorised storage pipeline, they are strengthening their team and are looking to appoint a Junior Buyer in Rome.

This is a hands-on, technical procurement role - ideal for someone with 2+ years’ experience buying main electrical components within the renewable energy sector.

The Role Reporting directly to the Head of Procurement, you will be responsible for supporting the sourcing and purchasing of key electrical equipment across live solar and storage construction projects.

Key responsibilities include: Procurement of main components for utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projects Purchasing materials such as inverters and transformers Managing supplier communications and RFQ processes Coordinating with engineering and construction teams to ensure technical compliance Supporting delivery timelines in line with project schedules

Requirements Minimum 2 years’ procurement experience within renewable energy Experience purchasing primary project equipment Exposure to utility-scale solar and/or BESS projects Strong organisational and coordination skills Italian and English language capability
