Engineer / Consultant (m/f/x) Aviation – Aerodrome Safeguarding Expert –

to join our Italian office team in Italy.

Your responsibilities: As a member of airsight Italy branch, you are working on national and international consulting projects, incl. tasks such as:

Modelling of aerodromes’ obstacle limitation surfaces (OLS) Analyzing of OLS infringements Preparing aeronautical studies on OLS penetrations Managing aeronautical data Supporting airsight’s aerodrome safeguarding and flight procedure design team in Berlin, Germany Preparing study reports and expert opinions Presenting study results to clients Supporting airsight’s training team with the development of training material; potentially acting as a trainer Additional aviation/aerodrome related competences such as flight procedure design, aircraft performance analysis, pilot license, airport safety & operations or airport planning and design will be considered as a plus

Your profile: University degree in aeronautical engineering, or equivalent Minimum 2 years professional experience in the aviation sector Knowledge in the field of ICAO, EASA and other regulations Knowledge of ICAO Annex 14 Vol. 1 and EASA CS-ADR-DSN obstacle limitation surfaces (OLS) Knowledge of PANS‑OPS flight procedure design criteria is a plus Knowledge of ICAO Annex 6 and EASA Air OPS performance analysis is a plus Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, self-organization, intrinsic motivation, and commitment Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills Ability to work together within a passionate, dynamic flexible and committed team Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suites (e.g. Power Point, Word, Excel); familiarity with CAD software (e.g. Micro Station) preferred Familiarity with office 365 products (list, power automate, power app, power BI) is a plus Excellent verbal and written communication in Italian and English is mandatory, knowledge of German is preferable but not mandatory, knowledge of other languages is a plus Willingness to travel Excellent sense of customer-oriented services
