Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer (AWS) – Lead

to support and evolve our AWS cloud and infrastructure platforms in an international environment. The role combines

hands-on cloud engineering, operational ownership, automation and vendor coordination

, ensuring reliability, scalability, and continuous improvement of AWS cloud services, connectivity, and operational processes. The position leads technical execution across AWS operations, advanced networking, FinOps cost governance, and infrastructure automation.

Infrastructure, Cloud & DevOps Leadership Own and support AWS cloud and infrastructure operations. Lead AWS infrastructure operations and continuous improvement.Contribute to DevOps operational practices with strong focus on automation and repeatable workflows. Ensure reliability and resilience of AWS cloud infrastructure and connectivity.

Monitoring, Reliability & Operations Operate and improve monitoring coverage for AWS/cloud infrastructure (e.g.

Vendor, Project & Stakeholder Management Manage relationships with external providers (DevOps, monitoring, infrastructure). Contribute to and lead infrastructure and cloud-related projects. Advanced Networking Site-to-site (P2P) VPN configuration and operations Client VPN configuration and operations FinOps & Cloud Cost Governance Optimization initiatives (rightsizing, storage lifecycle, Savings Plans support)

Automation & Infrastructure-as-Code Identify and implement automation opportunities across infrastructure operations Fluent English (spoken and written) . Proven experience in a senior cloud/infrastructure role with strong hands-on technical ownership and accountability, acting as a technical reference point. Strong AWS expertise

(mandatory). Hands-on experience automation and Infrastructure-as-Code mindset (Ansible, scripting, repeatable workflows).. Strong background in Linux and infrastructure fundamentals. Strong experience with

advanced networking

, including: Demonstrated experience supporting

FinOps / cloud cost governance

activities (tagging, reporting, optimization actions).

AWS Solutions Architect Associate (or equivalent) ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation Agile / Project Management certifications Exposure to Microsoft Azure. Technical ownership and continuous improvement of AWS cloud infrastructure and connectivity, ensuring stability, scalability, and operational excellence. Reduced dependency on external providers by strengthening internal AWS and infrastructure engineering capabilities, improving operational autonomy. Improved operational maturity through standardized procedures, automation, Infrastructure-as-Code mindset, and repeatable operational workflows, increasing service quality and reducing manual effort. reliability and scalability of AWS services network resilience and connectivity performance (VPN, VPC peering, routing) cloud cost transparency and optimization through FinOps practices
