Mission & Core Purpose We’re looking for an enthusiastic Accountant intern to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Head of Accounting, you will be providing support in the following: - Recording and maintaining daily financial transactions, including invoices, expenses, and receipts; - Reconciling bank statements and financial records to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies; - Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor payments and customer invoicing; - Assisting in budgeting and forecasting, providing financial data and insights to support decision-making; - Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies; - Supporting the finance team in month-end and year-end closing activities; - Maintaining confidentiality of financial information and protecting sensitive data; - Performing suppliers cost control and analysis vs budget; - Collaborating with other team members and departments to ensure smooth financial operations. Experience & Skills - Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or other related subjects; - Professional proficiency in English and Italian; - Full availability for 40 hours a week; - Strong Excel skills (i.e., pivot tables and medium-level formulas such as SUMIF, VLOOKUP, etc.); - Attention to detail and ability to accurately perform data collection and reporting tasks; - Unafraid to ask for help and support when needed, open to improvements and professional development; - Self-directed and able to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Added values - Aptitude for teamwork; - Additional languages (Swedish, French, Germany or Spanish) are more than welcome; - Previous experience with any ERPs (e.g., Oracle Netsuite, Datev, Profis). Location At iubenda we believe in full-remote. You are free to work from anywhere in the world. If you prefer a hybrid model, you can work from one of our offices in Milan, Bologna, or Mauritius.
