Job ID: 3189321 | ASSPL - Maharashtra - C32 Amazon’s SLP team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated person to help develop and implement a world‑class security program that ensures our customers receive the items they purchase on time and at the best possible cost. Amazon is one of the most recognizable brand names in the world and we distribute millions of products each year to our loyal customers. The SLP Expert position for ATS site in IN‑SLP is an individual contributor role with the primary responsibility of ensuring the investigation and protection of people & assets of Amazon sites in accordance with global security guidelines and policies. The role requires the leader to operate cross‑mile, partnering with multiple operations and support function leaders, and influencing stakeholders for SLP‑specific problem solving. Key job responsibilities

End to end responsibility of security operations: Physical security is the key aspect of the role. This includes guarding services management with headcount management, standard work allocation, control room monitoring and performance management of the workforce through Specter, and security assets and systems management to ensure serviceability, requiring access control and monitoring maintenance and upkeep supporting businesses’ needs. Managing these requires collaboration with the physical security program, technical and vendor teams. Site audits and certifications: For the cluster of facilities, the role leader is responsible to perform frequent audits with standard binary and partner with respective site/operations to remediate defects identified in audits to reduce risk. The leader drives required certifications for the sites from a security POV and influences operations to get the sites compliant for day‑to‑day secure processes. Process improvement & loss prevention: The role is entrusted with controlling shrink and preventing losses through proactive identification of process violations during audits and floor patrolling, analyzing trends and collaborating with operations to design corrective mechanisms. The role also identifies required tech/system interventions to make the process improvement scalable across the network for long‑term and provides inputs to solutions. Investigations and actions: Interventional investigation of theft, fraud and customer abuse in the network is another important area. The specialist supports by accessing video surveillance evidence, coordinating local law enforcement recommendations, identifying key MOs, conducting trend analysis for the sites, and driving ECR and buyer escalations. Crisis and incident management: The specialist periodically evaluates internal and external risk, implements mitigation measures to ensure business continuity, collaborates with stakeholders, and operates at multiple levels to devise immediate solutions during crisis and leads guidance for sites to handle crisis and incident situations per WWOS standards. Business reviews: The role prepares and presents documents for business reviews (WBR/MBR/QBR), drives meetings to discuss critical points with leaders, and builds a strategic holistic business lens to identify the right structure, debated topics, representation, and partnership with multiple field and program leaders.

Basic Qualifications

10+ years of law enforcement or security‑related experience Experience in law enforcement or a security‑related profession
