Job purpose:
As a Floor Manager, you are passionate about the world of beauty and cosmetics and ready to become the custodian of the brand's valuable heritage and legacy, sharing the vision, values, and mission with your team and customers.
You are a driven business leader responsible for the store's success, handling all required tasks to meet the objectives.
You guide your team in delivering an exceptional sales experience by actively being on the store floor and leading by example, prioritizing the clientโs needs.
You are a motivated and inspiring leader who collaborates closely with your team to help them reach their individual sales targets. You support and nurture their development by working alongside them, preparing them for success through thoughtful planning, and fostering their growth as both a trainer and mentor.
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing the Business
Guide and motivate the sales team to surpass targets by optimizing personal performance, driving revenue growth, and ensuring the store's success.
Continuously analyze performance to develop and propose strategic improvement plans.
Support the team in optimizing KPIs by implementing cross-selling and up-selling techniques, ensuring alignment with the Retail department.
Act as a Brand Ambassador in the local market, identifying opportunities to attract new clients, boost foot traffic, and foster customer loyalty.
Maintain a strong presence on the sales floor, ensuring exceptional customer service and high-quality standards.
Reach store financial objectives by carefully overseeing expenditures and cost management.
Create an impressive customer experience
Place the client at the center, modeling exemplary behavior to create a welcoming space, and ensuring the team is dedicated to satisfying all their requirements and wishes.
Foster a client-focused approach by building and maintaining strong relationships, while enhancing exceptional after-sales service.
Ensure a superior customer experience and high service standards through the implementation of the Client Experience Foundation.
Proactively identify opportunities to attract new clients and drive store sales.
Effectively manage and resolve customer complaints to ensure a positive outcome and reinforce client loyalty.
Team Supervision
Create a supportive and professional team culture focused on trust, integrity, and high performance, guiding by example.
Guide the team as a coach, enhancing cohesion by promoting clear and constructive communication, creating a vibrant, positive atmosphere that leaves a lasting impression on clients.
Support the exchange of information among the team and proactively prepare daily briefings on focused topics.
Identify the needs and objectives, educating and motivating the store team in product knowledge, sales strategies, client assistance, and company policies and procedures.
Encourage team development by guiding individuals and following up on their growth.
Attract and recruit top talent by leveraging networking and scouting strategies
Store Operations
Guarantee that the display entices customers and drives sales, following company guidelines- coordinate with the Visual Merchandising for support as required.
Make sure the team exhibits the highest level of attention and appreciation for the product, clearly demonstrated in every selling.
Ensure adherence to company guidelines regarding cash handling, inventory management, logistics, and all essential reporting responsibilities set by the head office.
Share ideas and proposals with the Visual Merchandising team when required.
Guarantee exceptional quality and assistance during all store events.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in retail management or a comparable position
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong ability to lead and make effective decisions
Able to perform effectively in a fast-paced setting and coordinate multiple duties
Exceptional talent for encouraging and guiding teams to grow
Strong adaptability and problem-solving skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required
Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising
Experience with the selling ceremony and the client journey
Client-oriented mentality
Proficient in Microsoft Office and retail management software
Fluency in English is mandatory, knowledge of additional language could be a plus
At least 5 years of experience like floor manager / department manager /assistant store manager in luxury / beauty / fashion field
