We’re on the quest for an amazing Web Editor. You should be a highly-charged communicator with one hand in the cookie jar of Onsite Content Creation and another hand in culinary writing. What we desire: a Subject Matter Expert who revels in crafting and updating content for our food-focused website, while nurturing visitors in their inspired-led journeys that closely align with the Whole Foods Market brand.

Key Job Responsibilities
Channel owner for editorial content on WholeFoodsMarket.com
Working knowledge of Content SEO
Create and manage monthly content plans that support all projects (e.g., holiday catering, in-store events, weekly sales)
Write and edit all copy for editorial articles and landing pages
Build and edit articles and landing pages in website CMS frontend
Collaborate with designers on photo selection, design, and overall strength of each
Collaborate with business partners and balance their needs with a commitment to positive solutions
Skills
Ability to write in diverse styles while keeping the Whole Foods Market voice prevalent—everything from short, snappy copy to informational and promotional copy
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency
Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
Working knowledge of Figma
Working knowledge of AI
Familiar with Whole Foods Market culture, brand, Core Values and Quality Standards
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
Promotional marketing and editorial work
UX/Digital writing experience
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in English, Communications, Linguistics, or a related field
Experience in overseeing and managing projects and deadlines
Portfolio of editorial food writing skills

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits, including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
