Role Overview
The
People Development & Total Rewards Manager
, based at
Somacis HQ in Castelfidardo
, reports to the
HR Manager
.
This role is responsible for
designing and leading the company’s people development strategies, performance management processes, and Total Rewards systems
, ensuring the growth of skills, competitiveness of compensation, and the promotion of a
culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
.
The manager works closely with HR leadership, department heads, and cross-functional teams to ensure
strategic alignment of talent initiatives with business goals
, fostering an engaging and high-performance workplace.
Key Responsibilities
People Development & Talent Management
Design and implement
training strategies, individual development plans, and professional growth programs
.
Lead
leadership development, high-potential programs, and succession planning
.
Partner with department managers to
map competencies, identify skill gaps, and define career progression pathways
.
Develop and maintain the company’s
competency framework
.
Performance Management
Oversee the
full annual performance cycle
, from goal setting to final review.
Improve
performance processes, tools, and metrics
to ensure transparency, meritocracy, and alignment with company objectives.
Train managers on
continuous feedback and performance-driven behaviors
.
Total Rewards & Compensation
Define and maintain
compensation policies, job frameworks, salary reviews, and bonus schemes
.
Manage
corporate welfare programs, insurance plans, employee benefits, and non-monetary rewards
.
Conduct
compensation benchmarking and internal equity analyses
.
Monitor
HR costs, compensation budgets, and financial KPIs related to Total Rewards
.
Culture, Engagement & HR Analytics
Develop initiatives to
strengthen company culture and enhance employee engagement
.
Collect and analyze
HR metrics
(turnover, absenteeism, headcount, HR costs) to inform strategic decisions.
Promote an
inclusive, collaborative, and growth-oriented workplace
.
Requirements
Degree in
Human Resources, Economics, Organizational Psychology
, or related fields.
5+ years of experience
in HR roles focused on
people development, learning & development, and compensation & benefits
.
Strong knowledge of
performance management, learning methodologies, and Total Rewards systems
.
Excellent
analytical and project management skills
, able to handle complex initiatives.
Strong
communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities
.
Business-oriented mindset with
strategic thinking
and results focus.
Good command of
English
; additional languages are a plus.
Proactive, change-oriented, and continuous improvement mindset
.
