Your role
We are seeking a detail‑oriented and experienced Senior Accounting Coordinator to join our finance team. This role is responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and supporting the month‑end and year‑end closing processes. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to coordinate effectively across departments.
Main responsibilities
Coordinate a team performing daily accounting tasks on several EMEA entities
Support month‑end and year‑end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports
Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and relevant accounting standards (e.g. IFRS/GAAP)
Assist in external audits by preparing documentation and liaising with auditors
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support business operations and provide financial insights
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial operations
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff
Main requirements
Degree in Economics & Finance, or related fields
Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting and finance
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Proficient in SAP ERP and Microsoft Excel
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Effective communication skills and a proactive, team‑oriented attitude
Good communication skills in English (both written and spoken); other languages are a plus
Experience in audit firms or multinational companies is a plus
