Job Description
Pay : ₹10,000 – ₹15,000 (in hand) per month, depending on experience.
Hours : 5 days a week, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Requirements : Own laptop and a reliable, good internet connection.
We need a full-time person to maintain our website, make required changes, and take over ongoing development. As we are a startup, you will also support the business beyond development (see Additional Responsibilities).
TECHNICAL STACK
- WordPress, WooCommerce, multi-vendor marketplace and add-ons (Mass Upload, RFQ, Multi-Currency, Tier-Based Pricing)
- Payments, caching, SEO integrations; site hosted on VPS (SSH, control panel, PHP/MySQL, SSL, backups)
- Custom plugins, PHP, MySQL/MariaDB; front-end: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive layout
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- WordPress & WooCommerce : Maintain and update core, plugins; troubleshoot checkout, cart, orders, catalog

Plugin development: Build and maintain custom WordPress/WooCommerce plugins; extend marketplace via hooks, filters, APIs; debug and patch third-party plugins

Multi-vendor marketplace : Support vendor registration, dashboards, commissions, seller central; keep add-ons and vendor features working

Theme & UI:
Customize theme, fix layout and responsiveness, add custom CSS/JS or child-theme overrides

Features & integrations : Quick Order, product comparison, image search, order tracking; payment and shipping flows; Help Center / Knowledge Base

VPS & hosting : Manage server (SSH, control panel, deployments, PHP/MySQL, SSL, backups); monitor uptime and health

Performance & security : Caching, security best practices, backups

Documentation : Document customizations and support ongoing maintenance
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES (STARTUP ROLE)
Cold calling is one of the most important parts of this role — significant time on outbound calls for sales.

Cold calling : Outbound calls to leads, prospects, and suppliers (core part of role)

Product upload : Bulk/CSV upload and product data entry on the website

Supplier verification : Check and verify supplier (vendor) information and documents

Supplier data : Review and validate supplier profiles, company details, product listings

Sales support : Inbound calls and support for the sales team (enquiries, follow-ups, customer/supplier calls)
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
No technical degree required. You must have verifiable work to showcase — from industry (job, freelance, contract) or personal projects (portfolio, GitHub, live sites).
