Platform Engineer

Role Description The Platform Engineer will design and operate the Kubernetes infrastructure supporting the modernized application platform, including backend services and edge deployments.

Qualifications Design and manage Kubernetes clusters; cloud and edge Build CI/CD pipelines for microservices deployments Implement infrastructure-as-code for environments Support container orchestration and scaling Manage observability (monitoring, logging, tracing) Optimize system performance and reliability Support security and access controls; devsecops Enable edge deployment architectures where required

Required Skills 4–6 years of DevOps/DevSecOps/Platform-Engineering experience Strong experience with Kubernetes (K8s & K3s) Experience with secure container building & orchestration, and Linux Familiarity with either of these CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure ADO, Drone, or Tekton) Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Pulumi, Crossplane, Ansible) Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)

Nice to Have Experience with service-mesh (Istio, Linkerd) Knowledge of observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) Experience with distributed systems Experience with Kubernetes on Edge Experience with Rancher, KubeSphere, or similar
