Back-End Developer | Java (Spring Boot) | Global Digital Agency Platform

The Back-End Developer will play a key role in building and supporting scalable digital platforms used by global businesses. This position requires strong engineering fundamentals, disciplined coding practices, and the ability to independently solve complex technical problems in a hands-on development environment. The role demands engineers who are comfortable writing production-quality code, conducting technical research, and delivering reliable backend services within modern cloud-based ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and the Spring ecosystem. Build scalable and reliable APIs and backend components that support high-volume digital platforms. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following strong engineering standards. Investigate technical challenges, research solutions, and implement effective fixes independently. Develop and maintain robust unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and system reliability. Work closely with engineering teams to review code, troubleshoot issues, and improve platform performance. Contribute to backend architecture decisions and continuously improve system stability and scalability.

Technical Requirements

Java & Spring Framework:

Deep understanding of the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot and Spring MVC. Data & Security:

Strong experience with Spring Data, MongoDB connectors, MySQL querying, and Spring Security. Infrastructure:

Familiarity with Kubernetes environments and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for hosting services, including non-container-based workloads. Testing:

Proven experience writing comprehensive unit tests and integration tests to ensure reliability and maintainability of backend systems.

Preferred Background Experience working in

FinTech environments , supporting platforms that handle high-volume financial or transaction-based systems. Strong understanding of backend architecture, API development, and distributed systems commonly used in financial technology platforms. Experience working on scalable digital products that serve large consumer or enterprise user bases.
