The Role
We are looking for an experienced Oracle SCM Fusion Technical Consultant to design, develop, and support technical solutions across Oracle Fusion SCM and Oracle GTM environments, including both cloud and on-premise platforms. The role focuses on system integrations, technical conversions, data migration, and automation to support global trade compliance and logistics operations.
You will collaborate closely with functional, compliance, and integration teams to ensure seamless system performance, support enterprise transitions from on-premises to cloud environments, resolve technical issues, and deliver scalable, high-quality technical solutions aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
· Design and develop technical solutions across Oracle Fusion SCM modules with focus on Oracle GTM Cloud and legacy Oracle GTM (EBS on-premises).
· Lead GTM technical conversions, extensions, and integrations during Fortinet’s transition from on-prem GTM (6.4.x) to GTM Cloud (23C+), ensuring continuity of trade compliance and logistics workflows.
· Develop interfaces using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), SOA Suite, and custom APIs to integrate GTM with upstream and downstream systems (e.g., EBS, Fusion SCM, Salesforce, OTM, external broker portals).
· Build and support GTM automation scripts, custom reports, FBDI/HDL templates, and configurations for trade transactions, classification, restricted party screening, and license management.
· Support migration of GTM master and transaction data (e.g., items, partners, licenses, declarations) from legacy on-premise system to Cloud via approved data migration strategy.
· Analyze and optimize GTM document processes (e.g., inbound customs, export shipments, AES filing), working closely with GTM functional and compliance teams.
· Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, performance bottlenecks, and integration failures across Fusion SCM and GTM platforms.
· Participate in technical design sessions, code reviews, SIT/UAT defect triage, deployment planning, and hypercare support.
· Maintain detailed technical documentation and handover packages for long-term AMS.
Must - Have Qualifications:
· Minimum 12 years of technical experience in Oracle SCM, with minimum 4 years in Oracle GTM (both on-premise and cloud).
· Strong hands-on expertise in: Oracle Fusion SCM (e.g., Inventory, Order Management, Purchasing), Oracle GTM Cloud technical configurations and extensions, Oracle GTM On-Premise (6.4.x or higher), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), B2B/EDI, REST/SOAP services XML Gateway, PaaS custom solutions, and SOA integrations
· Experience in data migration using FBDI, ADFdi, SQL, and PL/SQL for Oracle GTM.
· Familiarity with trade compliance processes (RPS, HTS/ECCN classification, licensing, trade agreements).
· Ability to work with Agile/Sprint teams and participate in DevOps-enabled delivery models.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field
· Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
· Oracle SCM and/or Oracle GTM Cloud Certification (preferred).
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
