Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain systems for accurate collation, analysis, and reporting of financial and accounting information.
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations across the company and subsidiaries, ensuring adherence to accounting standards, timely closures, and proper handling of inter-company transactions, accruals, reconciliations, and fixed assets.
Design and strengthen internal control systems to enhance governance and ensure compliance with policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Lead statutory, internal, and tax audits, ensuring timely closure of audit observations and coordination with auditors and stakeholders.
Drive budgeting and MIS by coordinating annual budgets, monitoring budget vs actuals, and providing performance insights for decision-making.
Oversee billing, collections, and receivables while optimizing working capital, including payables and operating expenditure.
Ensure direct and indirect tax compliance, including filings, assessments, and coordination with tax advisors.
Provide finance support on commercial matters, including pricing, contract review, and cost implications.
Key Requirements & Qualification:
Qualified Chartered Accountant with 10–15 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
Experience in handling finance and accounting operations for large organizations and/or multiple entities/subsidiaries.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced MS Office and familiarity with ERP/accounting systems.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to cope with competing demands and manage multiple priorities.
Self-directed, with strong initiative, demonstrated integrity, and attention to detail.
