Job Description
Engagement goal
Guide our engineering teams to
design, build, and expose
registry services through modern, partner-friendly integration patterns.
Create
scalable, secure, and reliable
solutions that meet partner needs, improve internal service delivery, and unlock new use cases.
A key part of this role is inventing and validating novel integration approachesโ API/SDK, webhooks/eventing, and MCP-style tooling โand applying
AI-first automation where it adds real value
(e.g., integration support, diagnostics, and operational workflows) without compromising determinism, security, or compliance.
What youโll do
Define the vision and roadmap:
Shape the integration strategy, MVP scope, and phased roadmap (MVP โ scale).
Design best-in-class integrations:
Establish integration standards across API specs, docs, eventing/webhooks, versioning/deprecation, idempotency, rate limits, and error models.
Build modern, scalable systems:
Architect and implement key integration components (APIs/services, eventing, tooling, reference implementations) aligned with registry-grade operational requirements.
Invent new solutions:
Identify and prototype novel partner workflows, automation, and integration patterns (including MCP-style tool integrations) and turn the best ideas into shippable roadmap items.
AI-first where applicable:
Evaluate and ship pragmatic AI/automation to improve partner integration speed and operational effectiveness (e.g., self-serve troubleshooting, log/trace-driven diagnostics, incident triage), with appropriate guardrails.
Create a great partner integration experience:
Define the practical path from discovery โ sandbox/test environment โ auth/keys โ validation/certification โ production rollout โ ongoing support.
Engineer with the team:
Work with engineering to drive architecture decisions, delivery milestones, and production readiness (observability, SLOs, runbooks).
Stakeholder alignment:
Engage internal stakeholders to gather feedback, clarify requirements, and ensure solutions fit real partner and internal operational needs.
Measure outcomes:
Define KPIs and track performance (time-to-integrate, activation, reliability, latency, partner satisfaction).
Hands-on expectations
This is an
engineering-embedded
consulting role. Youโre expected to be deeply technical and hands-on in delivery through design and execution support.
You will help
design systems end-to-end , debug issues, and provide detailed engineering guidance (patterns, standards, reference implementations).
You will
contribute production code
when needed (e.g., prototypes, SDK samples, integration tooling, reference services)
Typical split (guideline):
40โ55%
architecture/solutioning + integration design,
15โ25%
delivery support,
20โ40%
coding/prototyping, depending on phase and team capacity.
Must-have experience
7+ years
hands-on work with a
Domain Registry or Registrar platform .
Strong understanding of
domain lifecycle mechanics
and
DNS in registry operations .
Proven ability to diagnose and resolve production issues (logs/APIs/system behavior) and guide escalations to resolution.
Track record delivering complex B2B/platform capabilities with cross-functional teams.
Nice-to-have
Security/auth expertise, partner ecosystems, developer portals.
Practical AI/automation experience for developer experience or ops (without compromising safety/reliability).
Strong backend/platform skills in our stack (e.g., PHP/Python/Node), distributed systems, API platform design.
Deliverables (examples)
Integration standards pack (API/DX standards, versioning/deprecation policy, eventing/webhooks model).
A prioritized pipeline of new integration concepts with validated business/technical cases.
Reference architecture notes and operational readiness checklist (SLOs, dashboards, alerts, runbooks).
Launch readiness checklist + KPI dashboard plan
About Radix:
REVOLUTIONISING THE INTERNET:
We started out in 2012 as a part of the Bhavin Turakhia led Directi Group, which has been a prominent player in the web presence industry since the 90s. The meteoric rise in the number of websites back then led to an acute shortage of quality domain names. The depleting name pool within the .com / .net led to growing customer dissatisfaction as first choice names became impossible to find! We knew that domain names had to evolve in order to serve their purpose of memorable online identities.
Enter Radix.
When the Internet Corporation of Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) opened the door to new top level domains other than the .com, .net, .org etc., we knew it was the perfect opportunity to solve a growing customer problem.
Equipped with powerful and meaningful new extensions such as .tech, .online, .store, .fun, .site, .press etc. we set out on a mission to eliminate the distinction between the real names and internet addresses of individuals and businesses. We started with an audacious goal of building a world where domain names are less like phone numbers which need to be written and stored and more like brand names which are easily remembered. And here we are, with more than 9 million domains already registered on our extensions, we are well on the path towards revolutionizing the internet. Brands like Mr. Beast (www.mrbeast.store), Viacom (www.viacom.tech), Emirates (emirates.store), Doordash (order.online), CES (ces.tech), Shakira (www.shakira.store) and many more have already made the switch. Its only a matter of time before the rest of the world does it too. To sum it up, the internet history is being rewritten and Radix is at the core of it.
