Job Summary

Sahaja Aharam seeks a dynamic CEO to lead supply chain, FPO partnerships, B2B franchise operations, quality assurance, business expansion, and financial governance in the organic foods sector. The role involves strategic procurement, ensuring farm-to-shelf integrity, arranging optimal credit, supporting FPO storage with assured buy-back, and driving sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain & Procurement Management

- Identify and onboard reliable FPO’s (other vendors where FPO’s are not available or workable) for the consistent supply of organic products.

- Oversee the bulk procurement process and ensure strategic “pairings” (matching supply with market demand).

- Manage the end-to-end supply chain for Franchise (B2B).

Operations

- Maintain rigorous stock records and oversee real-time inventory management.

- Plan and manage the procurement of packing materials; ensure all products are accurately labelled and retail-ready.

- Ensure proper storage conditions and stored grain pest management.

- Supervise and coordinate the packing unit labour to ensure efficiency and timely dispatch.

Quality Assurance & Product Innovation

- Establish and enforce quality standards for all incoming and outgoing organic produce.

- Conduct regular checks to ensure product integrity from farm to shelf.

- Explore and introduce new organic products and innovative packaging solutions to stay competitive.

Business Development

- Actively explore and establish new franchise outlets; provide them with operational support and a steady supply chain.

- Organize “Organic Melas” and awareness campaigns to promote the benefits of safe, organic food.

- Engage with buyers and consumers to gather feedback, address queries, and build brand loyalty.

Financial & Legal Governance

- Oversee the organization’s financial health, including budgeting, cash flow for procurement, and profitability.

- Ensure the organization adheres to all government regulations, and legal requirements.

- Arrange credit at optimum rates.

- Encourage supplier FPOs to store by getting credit with assured buying guarantee from Sahaja Aharam.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Graduate/Postgraduate in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Business Management, Supply Chain, or related fields.

- 10+ years of leadership experience in supply chain, procurement, operations, or business development; preferably in organic foods, agriculture, or FMCG sectors.

- Proven experience in managing FPO/vendor partnerships and end-to-end B2B franchise supply chains.

- Strong leadership and team management skills with strategic decision-making capabilities.

- Hands‑on expertise in inventory management, packing, labelling, storage, and pest control.

- Track record of maintaining high-quality standards and introducing product or packaging innovations.

- Experience in business expansion, franchise development, and consumer engagement.

- Strong financial and legal governance skills, including budgeting, cash flow, and credit management for suppliers.

- Commitment to sustainability, ethical practices, and strengthening the organic food ecosystem through FPO support.
