Quality Assurance Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our dynamic team. The QA Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with developers to resolve issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies and a passion for delivering flawless software products.

Key Responsibilities: Test Planning & Strategy:

Develop, document, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and specifications. Test Execution:

Execute manual and automated tests to identify software defects, inconsistencies, and issues. Ensure thorough coverage of all test scenarios, including functional, regression, performance, and usability testing. Defect Management:

Identify, document, and track software defects using issue-tracking tools. Collaborate with developers to prioritize and resolve defects in a timely manner. Automation:

Develop and maintain automated test scripts to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA process. Utilize automation tools and frameworks to ensure consistent and repeatable testing. Collaboration:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to understand requirements, provide feedback, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. Performance & Load Testing:

Conduct performance and load testing to evaluate the software's scalability and responsiveness under varying conditions. Continuous Improvement:

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the QA process, tools, and methodologies. Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing. Documentation:

Create and maintain detailed QA documentation, including test plans, test cases, test scripts, and defect reports. Ensure clear and concise communication of testing activities and results. Release Support:

Assist in the preparation and execution of software releases by conducting final testing, validation, and approval of software builds.

Qualifications: Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of OWASP Prinicples. Proficiency in manual and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestRail). Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java) is a plus. Attention to Detail:

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Hands on experience with Performance Testing and Security Testing Tools Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
