We’re Hiring | US Mortgage Live Underwriter Job Title: US Mortgage Live Underwriter Location: | Bengaluru | Work From Home Experience: Minimum 3+ years of US mortgage underwriting (with at least 1 year in live underwriting) Salary: Up to ₹13LPA

Key Responsibilities Review and analyze mortgage loan applications for eligibility, accuracy, and compliance. Evaluate creditworthiness, income, collateral, and loan-to-value ratios. Make independent decisions on loan acceptance and associated risk. Provide final approval on mortgage loans. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve escalations. Manage loan files and processing using Encompass and other LOS platforms.

Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Minimum 3+ years of experience in US mortgage underwriting, with at least 1 year of live underwriting. Strong knowledge of the 4 Cs of underwriting – Credit, Capacity, Collateral, and Capital (Assets). Hands-on experience with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, and VA guidelines. Proficiency with AUS tools (DU/LP) and manual underwriting. Experience working with LOS platforms like Encompass, Blend, etc.
