About the Role We are looking for a

Head of Investment Intelligence

- someone who can blend data, market understanding, and clear thinking to create meaningful insights for our portfolios and clients. This role sits at the intersection of research, portfolio analytics, and communication, helping shape how we understand markets and make investment decisions. The ideal candidate is an avid reader and writer with a deep interest in markets, economics, and investor behavior. Someone who loves connecting data with narrative and can translate complex market dynamics into simple, actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities 1. Market & Portfolio Insights Build and communicate structured insights around portfolios, markets, and macro trends through reports, dashboards, and presentations. Evaluate portfolio performance drivers, risk exposures, and valuation trends using data-driven frameworks. Collaborate with Fund Management, Research, and Product teams to contextualize insights and drive investment outcomes. 2. Thought Leadership Write high-quality articles, blogs, and research pieces that reflect independent, well-reasoned thinking. Contribute to Dezerv’s voice on markets and portfolio strategy — shaping how investors understand risk, return, and discipline. 3. Data & Technology Integration Extract, process, and analyze large datasets using SQL and Python. Be hands-on with data sources such as Bloomberg, FactSet, Capital IQ, CMIE Economic Outlook, ProwessIQ, ACE Equity, and ACE MF. Work with product and engineering teams to build scalable tools and processes that enhance portfolio intelligence and execution. 4. Communication & Collaboration Present insights clearly to internal teams and clients through well-structured presentations and discussions. Act as a bridge between research, fund management, dealing, and sales — ensuring insights are actionable and aligned.

Qualifications & Skills: 8–12 years of relevant experience in investment research, portfolio analytics, strategy, or related domains. Strong understanding of portfolio management, economics, and capital markets. Proficient in SQL and Python, with experience extracting and interpreting data from institutional financial databases. Demonstrated ability to write clearly and thoughtfully — published articles, blogs, or reports preferred. Excellent presentation and communication skills. Curiosity, intellectual depth, and the ability to connect dots across markets, data, and investor behavior.
