Senior/Lead Magento Developer

We are seeking a Lead – Adobe Commerce (Magento) who will take ownership of enterprise-scale commerce solutions, lead technical delivery, mentor teams, and partner closely with architects and stakeholders. This role is ideal for a seasoned Adobe Commerce professional who combines deep technical expertise with leadership, architectural thinking, and delivery excellence.

What will you do: Lead end-to-end design and delivery of enterprise Adobe Commerce (Magento Open Source & Commerce Cloud) implementations. Own technical solutioning, architecture decisions, and best practices for scalable, secure, and high-performance commerce platforms. Design and oversee development of custom Magento modules, extensions, themes, and integrations. Drive headless and composable commerce architectures, integrating Adobe Commerce with modern frontend frameworks and external services. Lead integrations with ERP, PIM, OMS, CRM, payment gateways, shipping providers, and third-party APIs. Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and reliability across environments. Provide technical leadership to development teams; review code, enforce standards, and mentor senior and mid-level engineers. Collaborate closely with solution architects, QA, UX, DevOps, and business stakeholders across geographies. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across application, infrastructure, and integration layers. Guide CI/CD strategies, deployment processes, and environment management for Magento Cloud. Stay ahead of Adobe Commerce roadmap updates, emerging commerce trends, and recommend platform and architectural improvements. Support pre-sales activities including technical estimations, solution design, and client presentations when required.

Who you are: 8–12 years of experience working with Adobe Commerce / Magento (Open Source and/or Commerce Cloud). Deep hands-on expertise in PHP, Magento framework, and Adobe Commerce architecture. Proven experience designing and leading custom Magento modules, plugins, observers, and extensions. Strong understanding of headless commerce, REST & GraphQL APIs, and frontend decoupling strategies. Solid experience with B2B commerce features such as customer hierarchies, shared catalogs, pricing rules, and workflows. Hands-on experience with Magento Cloud, CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and environment management. Strong grasp of repository patterns, n-tier architecture, scalable system design, and performance optimization. Experience leading teams, conducting code reviews, and mentoring developers. Proficient with Git and collaborative development workflows. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a delivery-focused mindset. Strong communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, global consulting environment.
