Role Overview
We’re looking for a
freelance, highly networked liaisoning professional
who can independently represent the Founder and organization across political, police, judicial, and government circles. This role suits someone who already has a strong personal network within government systems and knows how to navigate bureaucracy effectively to get things done.
You will act as an on-ground representative on sensitive, high-stakes, or time-bound assignments involving senior police officials, bureaucrats, political leaders, or judicial bodies. The engagement will be flexible, case-based, and focused on measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Political, Police & Government Liaisoning
·
Build and sustain trusted relationships with senior police officials (Commissioners, DCPs, ACPs), BMC officers, and key government departments.
·
Coordinate and follow up with political offices of MLAs, MPs, and Ministers for institutional, social, or business initiatives.
·
Support in arranging official meetings, permissions, and clearances related to organizational projects.
·
Handle escalations requiring political, administrative, or law enforcement intervention.
·
Keep records of all communications and ensure confidentiality in all interactions.
·
Anticipate bureaucratic challenges and advise on the best course of action for faster resolution.
2. Judicial, Legal & Regulatory Coordination
·
Liaise with judicial authorities, registrar offices, and legal departments for case-related coordination or compliance requirements.
·
Work with advocates, legal consultants, or public prosecutors to ensure timely movement of documents and filings.
·
Follow up on NOCs, licenses, or regulatory approvals with precision and discretion.
·
Provide regular status updates and documentation to management for ongoing matters.
3. Business & Institutional Liaisoning
·
Represent the organization for securing licenses, tenders, or permissions across education, training, infrastructure, and CSR-linked projects.
·
Coordinate with PSUs, corporate affairs departments, and government boards for collaboration or project facilitation.
·
Engage with vendors, municipal authorities, and regulatory bodies to resolve field-level or operational issues.
·
Act as the key point of contact for high-level meetings involving bureaucrats, corporate leaders, and political offices.
4. Foundation & Social Initiatives
·
Support the Founder’s philanthropic and social outreach efforts by coordinating with local leaders, NGOs, and government offices.
·
Obtain approvals and handle logistics for community events, campaigns, or relief activities.
·
Maintain positive relationships across political parties, community organizations, and social circles to enhance goodwill and outreach.
5. Strategic Representation & Influence Building
·
Represent the Founder and institution in high-level political, administrative, and social discussions.
·
Track political and policy developments that could influence the organization’s projects.
·
Build and nurture long-term relationships with decision-makers, influencers, and senior officers.
·
Present reports and insights based on field coordination, government interactions, and stakeholder sentiments.
Ideal Candidate Profile
·
Experience:
10–25 years in government liaisoning, police coordination, political advisory, or public affairs.
·
Network:
Must have active connections with senior officials in the Mumbai Police, Judiciary, Mantralaya, and political circles.
·
Background:
Candidates who have worked as Personal Assistants, Advisors, or Liaison Officers to MLAs, MPs, Ministers, or Senior Police/Government Officers will be strongly preferred.
·
Skills:
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills in Marathi, Hindi, and English.
·
Education:
Background in Law, Political Science, or Public Administration preferred but not mandatory.
