SVP/VP, Quality Operations OSD, APAC: Stable and Growing International Pharma – remote based
SUMMARY:
Our client is a stable and growing international pharmaceutical company that is looking for a Global Head (SVP/VP-level) of OSD Quality Operations that will have responsibility across many sites within Asia-Pacific. You will oversee multiple Quality Site-level leaders as well as site-based teams across headcount, budgets, forecasting, systems, performance indicators, regional policies, GXP regulations, etc.
Most critically, our client is looking for a Quality Operations leader that can 1) continue to develop and grow a strong internal culture and quality presence across the OSD organization/sites and 2) be a strong strategic liaison and communicator with Global Health Authorities – ultimately leading to stronger overall site performance and inspection readiness.
LOCATION:
Remote-based in either Europe or Asia.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Act as the principal strategic interface with global Health Authorities across a broad network of Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) manufacturing sites throughout APAC.
Proactively identify and recommend improvements that strengthen compliance, enhance inspection readiness, and elevate overall site performance.
Ensure that key operational and strategic priorities within regional sites remain fully aligned with Global Quality standards and that appropriate oversight is embedded in all quality-related deliverables.
Contribute to the design, execution, and ongoing enhancement of the OSD Quality System and Compliance framework, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, business strategy, and operational objectives.
Establish and drive achievement of Quality Unit goals that support regulatory expectations, commercial priorities, and broader OSD operational strategies.
Lead development of a responsible budget and workforce strategy for regional OSD Quality teams, while monitoring financial performance and resource allocation.
Oversee forecasting, reporting, and financial planning processes, including operating and capital expenditures, while maintaining accountability for staffing levels across Quality functions.
Collaborate with senior leadership to shape enterprise-wide Quality initiatives, continuous improvement efforts, and key performance indicators.
Ensure rigorous compliance with all applicable cGxP regulations and regional Health Authority requirements across the OSD network.
Develop and implement regional Quality policies consistent with Global Quality standards.
Confirm that appropriate procedures, systems, and controls are in place to effectively operationalize policies and maintain regulatory compliance.
Partner with regional Quality leaders to ensure consistent execution of policies and procedures, and that all personnel operate in accordance with regulatory requirements, cGMP standards, SOPs, and company policies.
Assess departmental processes and strategic priorities, identifying opportunities to implement new technologies, tools, or process enhancements that improve efficiency and effectiveness.
REQUIREMENTS:
10+ years of Quality Operations leadership experience focused within Oral Solid Dosage, which includes experience in Asia-Pacific. Further global experience is also preferred.
Bachelors degree is required.
Experience and a strong desire to lead teams and cultural transformation.
Strong ability to communicate across the organization (executive through staff) as well as with external Health Authorities.
