Java L3 Support Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities Provide end-to-end application and cloud support across AWS environments, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance of production systems. Actively participate in incident management lifecycle, including incident detection, triage, root cause analysis (RCA), resolution, and post-incident reporting in line with ITIL practices. Monitor, manage, and resolve batch-processing jobs, ensuring timely execution, handling failures, and implementing preventive fixes to avoid recurrence. Develop, debug, and maintain backend code using Java and Python, adhering to Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and coding best practices. Support and enhance AWS services, including troubleshooting cloud infrastructure issues and collaborating with DevOps and platform teams. Perform code reviews, bug fixes, and performance tuning to improve system stability and efficiency. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (development, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders) using clear and effective communication. Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and incident reports to support knowledge sharing and operational continuity. Ensure adherence to SLA commitments, proactively identifying risks and implementing corrective and preventive actions. Support onboarding and transition activities, contributing immediately due to availability for immediate onboarding.
