Construction KAVIA AI

Job Description

Company: KAVIA AI Location: India (Remote or Hybrid; collaboration with global teams) Type: Full-time

About KAVIA AI

KAVIA AI is on a mission to simplify how humans create software. Our platform uses AI to help teams inspect, plan, and build software faster—especially in complex, real-world environments involving large codebases and legacy systems. We are a growing startup with global reach and a culture rooted in honesty, ownership, learning, and execution. We invest in training and mentorship and are open to candidates who bring the right mindset, curiosity, and commitment—even if they are still developing depth in some areas. Role Overview

We are looking for a

Forward Deployment Engineer (FDE)

who will work directly with customers and partners to help them successfully adopt and evaluate KAVIA in real software development environments. This is a

hands-on, execution-focused engineering role . You will work with real codebases, real SDLC workflows, and real constraints—helping customers understand how KAVIA fits into their day-to-day engineering work. You will also play an important role in feeding high-quality, grounded feedback back to our product and engineering teams. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and go-to-market. It is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, learning quickly, and working closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

Work hands-on with customer and partner teams during pilots and early deployments. Help onboard customers onto KAVIA, including tenant setup, access validation, and initial workflows. Work with real code repositories and SDLC artifacts to help customers inspect, plan, and build using KAVIA. Guide users through KAVIA’s capabilities in a practical, grounded way—focused on real outcomes rather than demos. Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, configuration gaps, or workflow mismatches. Clearly document observations, friction points, and feedback from real customer usage. Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to share learnings and improve the platform. Maintain professionalism and care when handling customer data, repositories, and confidential information. What Success Looks Like

Customers are able to meaningfully evaluate KAVIA using their own real projects. Pilots are structured, time-bound, and reach clear technical conclusions. Customers feel supported, respected, and technically understood. Clear, actionable feedback is shared internally with product and engineering teams. Strong follow-through on onboarding, pilot execution, and documentation. High say/do commitment, reliability, and ownership of assigned pilots. What We Offer

Direct exposure to enterprise customers, partners, and real-world engineering challenges. Opportunity to build deep expertise in AI-assisted software development and SDLC workflows. Close collaboration with product, engineering, and go-to-market leadership. Training, mentorship, and room to grow technical and customer-facing skills. A culture that values honesty, learning, execution, and thoughtful communication. Competitive compensation aligned with experience and role scope. Ideal Candidate

Strong foundation in software engineering or computer science fundamentals. Comfortable reading and reasoning about unfamiliar codebases and systems. Curious, detail-oriented, and eager to learn new tools and workflows. Clear communicator who can explain technical concepts calmly and accurately. Able to work independently, manage tasks, and follow through without constant supervision. Comfortable working across time zones and collaborating with global teams. Respects customer data and confidentiality and follows security best practices.
