Finance Executive

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Senior - Finance & Accounts to join our fast-growing start-up. The role requires strong accounting knowledge, hands-on experience in statutory compliances, and the ability to support financial operations in a dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business decision-making. Handle monthly/quarterly/annual book closing and prepare financial statements along with timely MIS Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory requirements. Prepare and process vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and other disbursements in a timely manner. Support audits, tax filings, and liaise with external auditors/consultants as required. Manage accounts payable/receivable and ensure accurate records of transactions. Maintain documentation and compliance for cross-border payments and international vendor transactions. Monitor cash flows and coordinate with banks and financial institutions. Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, taxation, and compliance regulations relevant to the business.

Requirements Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (CA/ CA Inter / CMA preferred but not mandatory). 4–7 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance, preferably in a start-up or technology company. Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and general compliance requirements. Experience in book closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Familiarity with cross-border payment processes, FEMA basics, and related compliance. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar). Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
