Job Description Experienced Oracle DBA to manage and optimize Oracle environments running on Amazon RDS for Oracle. This offshore role provides 24/7 coverage and focuses on availability, performance, security, automation, and GoldenGate-based replication/migration support.

Core Responsibilities Administer Oracle databases on Amazon RDS: provisioning, configuration, patching, maintenance windows, and upgrades. Manage performance using RDS Performance Insights, CloudWatch, OEM, AWR/ADDM, and related tools. Execute backup and recovery strategies using RMAN and RDS snapshots. Support high availability, multi-AZ deployments, DR planning/testing, and GoldenGate replication. Troubleshoot production issues, address performance bottlenecks, and participate in on-call rotations. Automate operational tasks using Shell, Python/Perl, AWS CLI, and basic SDK tooling. Maintain security standards, user access controls, encryption, and compliance requirements.

Required Experience 5+ years

Oracle DBA experience (11g–21c). 2+ years with

Amazon RDS for Oracle. Strong

SQL/PLSQL, RMAN , performance tuning, and Linux/Unix administration. Hands-on

GoldenGate experience. Solid understanding of

AWS fundamentals

(VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, RDS configurations).

Nice to Have ASM exposure, DMS experience, or familiarity with other RDS engines. Oracle OCP or AWS certifications.
