Marketing Coordinator

Job Summary: The Marketing Coordinator – R&D (Automotive/Locomotive) is responsible for supporting business development activities by coordinating between clients, marketing team, and R&D department. The role focuses on technical marketing, customer requirement analysis, proposal preparation, and project follow-up related to automotive or locomotive engineering services. Key Responsibilities: Client Coordination & Enquiry Handling Handle customer enquiries related to automotive/locomotive R&D projects. Understand technical requirements from OEMs, Tier-1, Tier-2 clients. Coordinate with design and engineering teams for feasibility. Proposal & Quotation Support Prepare techno-commercial proposals. Assist in cost estimation and pricing discussions. Follow up on submitted quotations. Market Research & Lead Generation Identify potential clients in automotive/locomotive sectors. Study industry trends, competitor analysis, and new technologies. Support in preparing marketing presentations and brochures. Project Coordination Coordinate between R&D team and clients during project execution. Track milestones, timelines, and deliverables. Ensure proper documentation and communication. Relationship Management Maintain regular follow-up with existing customers. Support in client meetings (online/offline). Assist in exhibitions, trade fairs, and technical seminars. Qualification: BE / B.Tech – Mechanical / Automobile / Production Engineering OR MBA (Marketing) with Technical Background Experience: 1–5 years in Automotive / Locomotive industry Experience in R&D coordination, technical sales, or business development preferred Freshers with strong technical + communication skills may apply (Junior Level) Skills Required: Strong technical knowledge in Automotive or Locomotive systems Good communication & presentation skills Understanding of engineering drawings & manufacturing processes Basic knowledge of costing & project management MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint proficiency CRM/ERP knowledge (preferred) Preferred Industry Exposure: Vehicle testing & validation Reverse engineering Design & development Prototype manufacturing Rail coach or locomotive components

Salary Range : 24000 to 35000 Per Month
