IT Asset Coordinator

Responsibilities: 1. Manage the lifecycle of IT assets including procurement, deployment, tracking, and disposal. 2. Maintain accurate records of all IT assets, including hardware, software licenses, and subscriptions. 3. Coordinate with various departments to assess IT asset needs and ensure timely procurement. 4. Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy of asset records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. 5. Develop and implement procedures for asset tracking, inventory management, and disposal. 6. Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve issues related to IT assets. 7. Assist in the development and implementation of IT asset management policies and procedures. 8. Provide support and training to end-users on IT asset management processes. 9. Monitor and analyze asset utilization and recommend optimizations to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness. 10. Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in IT asset management. Requirements: 1. bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field. 2. 2 years’ experience in IT asset management or related field. 3. Strong understanding of IT hardware and software products and their lifecycle. 4. Proficiency in asset management tools and software. 5. Excellent organizational and communication skills. 6. Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams. 7. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. 8. Knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) framework is a plus. 9. Relevant certifications such as Certified Asset Management Professional (CAMP) or Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional (CHAMP) are desirable. 10. Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to IT asset management (e.g., GDPR, SOX) is preferred.
