Primary Responsibilities
Estimation & Tendering for all Plumbing & Fire Projects
Prepare detail layout plans for all drainage and water supply systems for all residential and official buildings.
Perform regular inspection on all equipment’s and materials and assist in fabrication of same if required.
Manage and perform tests on various materials and equipment’s and maintain knowledge on all product specifications
Collaborate with various teams to design all requirements for all plumbing projects.
Assist to allocate appropriate CAD design for all activities and ensure compliance to all client timeframe.
Responsible for design of plumbing & firefighting systems; ensuring that these systems meet applicable standards & codes
Evaluate all design drawings according to required quality regulations.
Ensure all paper works submission (e.g., Vendor Approval Submission, Project Reports and Schedule submission and works executed on sites are according to specification, drawings and project requirement)
Monitor installation and perform tests on various water and sewage lines for all residential and commercial buildings.
Monitoring and carrying out quality check on progressive completed work
Co-ordinate with clients, consultants on the technical requirements and attend technical discussions and meeting with authorities, developer, and contractors
Co-ordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and own teams including group representatives for implementation of the projects and ensuring it is being built correctly and timely delivery of works
Represents Company at technical meetings with clients, stake holders and serves as the company's technical representative to clients and suppliers
Perform regular inspection all materials and works for all plumbing activities.
Work closely with the procurement team and suppliers
·Ensure proposals are compliance with the company’s quality procedures, client`s requirement and relevant/latest standards & regulations are updated accordingly
Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by immediate supervisor
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
Having plumbing design experience in commercial – hotels, hospital, office complex, mixed development, housing, resort, villa, Infrastructure & small-scale industries will be an added advantage.
At least 6-7 years’ experience in the plumbing design field is a must.
Excellent communication both verbal and written skills in English.
Exposure in overseas projects would be an added advantage
