About Nestology
Nestology is building a 360-degree early childhood development platform for children 0–3 years. We combine developmental science, Montessori principles, coaching, and real-world implementation support for modern families. Our support spans pregnancy to toddlerhood — across feeding, sleep, motor development, language, and emotional health.
Lactation support is a critical pillar in our first-year ecosystem.
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Lactation Consultant to lead breastfeeding and early feeding education, coaching, and protocol development within Nestology’s learning and support programs.
This role is not limited to “breastfeeding troubleshooting.” It includes parent education, structured modules, escalation frameworks, and training our child development assistants.
Key Responsibilities
1. Parent Education & Curriculum
Review and finalize structured breastfeeding modules (newborn to 12 months)
Contribute to scripts, guides, and downloadable resources
Ensure all content is evidence-based and culturally sensitive
Develop feeding transition guidance (exclusive breastfeeding → mixed feeding → solids)
2. Live Parent Sessions
Conduct live workshops (prenatal & postnatal)
Host Q&A sessions for common concerns:
Latch issues
Low milk supply
Engorgement / mastitis
Cluster feeding
Bottle introduction
Pumping & returning to work
3. 1:1 Consultations
Offer structured tele-consults (and home visits if applicable)
Provide written care plans where required
Create clear referral pathways (pediatrician, IBCLC escalation, tongue-tie specialist, etc.)
4. Protocol Building
Create Nestology feeding assessment checklist (0–6 months)
Develop red-flag screening guidelines
Build triage system for support team escalation
5. Training & Quality Control
Train child development assistants (2-week internal training program)
Create SOPs for common feeding cases
Review complex cases for quality assurance
Qualifications
Mandatory:
Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC preferred)
5+ years hands-on clinical experience
Experience with newborn feeding challenges
Strong understanding of early infant physiology
Preferred:
Experience working with pediatricians
Exposure to developmental science / responsive caregiving
Experience conducting workshops or online education
Comfort with digital tools & structured content creation
