Instructional Designer (K12/ HE)

Experience : 5 to 8 years Qualification : Any Post-Graduate, English/Literature background, Instructional Design degree/certification Position : Full-time Desired Skills : ● Possesses exceptional writing skills and extensive experience in content creation, with a strong command of the English language. ●Demonstrates the ability to produce explicit, concise, and engaging content from provided outlines, employing appropriate vocabulary and inclusive language to cater to a diverse audience. ●Demonstrated experience in the K-12 educational domain, particularly with U.S. clients, showcasing an understanding of this sector's unique requirements and standards. ● Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and experience with e-learning authoring tools, such as Articulate, to develop interactive and practical learning materials. ●Self-motivated with a keen willingness to acquire new skills and processes, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and innovations in educational design are continually embraced. Responsibilities: ●Conduct thorough needs analyses and learner analyses to inform the design of effective and inclusive learning materials. ● Incorporate evidence-based practices into instructional materials, ensuring content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with current academic standards and pedagogical strategies. ● Utilizes readability tests and guidelines to ensure all instructional materials are accessible and meet high standards of understanding and engagement. ● Design assessments that accurately measure learner outcomes and provide meaningful feedback to learners and educators. ● Stay abreast of trends and developments in instructional design, educational technology, and the US education landscape to inform best practices and innovative approaches.
