Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic professional to drive business development and industry engagement within the electronics & IT sector. The role will focus on building strong relationships with Regulatory, Compliance, and Government Affairs teams across companies, while positioning Access India as a trusted advisory partner.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Industry Outreach

- Engage with Regulatory, Compliance, and Government Affairs teams across electronics & IT companies - Identify and develop new business opportunities across: - BIS Certification (CRS / FMCS) - TEC Approvals - QCO Compliance - Customs & Trade Advisory - Policy Advocacy

Relationship Management

- Build and maintain strong relationships with: - Compliance & regulatory stakeholders in industry - Industry associations (MAIT, FICCI, CII, ICEA, etc.) - Represent Access India at industry forums, events, and policy discussions

Consultative Selling

- Understand client challenges related to regulatory approvals and compliance - Provide solution-oriented advisory and position Access India as a long-term partnerConvert engagements into mandates, retainers, and advisory projects

Government & Policy Interface (Support)

- Coordinate with internal teams on policy representations and advocacy initiatives - Engage with relevant government stakeholders (MeitY, BIS, DPIIT, etc.) as required

Pipeline & Revenue Management

- Build and manage a strong deal pipeline - Track leads, conversions, and engagement status - Drive revenue growth through structured follow-ups and client engagement

Candidate Profile

Experience

8–15 years of experience in:

- Electronics / IT industry - Testing / certification ecosystem - Industry chambers or policy bodies

Knowledge & Exposure

- Strong understanding of: - BIS / TEC / regulatory frameworks - India’s compliance and certification ecosystem

Network (Preferred)

- Existing relationships with: - Regulatory / Compliance heads - Government affairs professionals - Industry associations

Skills & Competencies

- Strong communication and relationship management skills - Consultative selling capability - High credibility with compliance and technical stakeholders - Proactive, self-driven, and network-oriented

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- 6–8 stakeholder meetings per week - ₹1 Cr+ quarterly pipeline generation - 2–4 deal closures per quarter - Participation in 3–5 industry engagements per quarter
