Industrial Designer - Packaging

Plastic pollution is catastrophic. 7bn tonnes of plastic has been made so far. Less than 10% of it is ever recycled. It’s estimated that by 2050 there will be more plastic in our oceans than fish. Microplastics have now been found in human blood. Cirkla is on a mission to solve this. Cirkla is a sustainability solutions company that helps brands replace plastics with viable alternatives. This role is for a Product Designer, who will play an integral role in developing designs for Cirkla. What You’ll Do Responsible for developing products along with renders and

graphics Come up with cost effective design solutions which meet the international standards Understand customer requirement to establish the design brief and conceptualise solutions Review and identify problems and create functional designs Evaluate design considerations to optimise relevant DFX (Design for Excellence) Develop 3D models on Solidworks for the solutions Draft 2D drawings of products developed and ensure proper document control Who you are Graduate/Post Graduate in Product/Industrial Design 2-3 years of industry experience in product designing in a high-growth work environment demonstrated in a portfolio that showcases the problem solving ability and strategic thinking Proficient in Solidworks and Keyshot Experienced in graphic designing with proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and

Adobe Photoshop Experience in Packaging Design is preferred Knowledge and Experience in Manufacturing is preferred Consistent track record of delivering design projects successfully Self-starter, high ownership & hungry for personal growth Strong communication skills, and ability to deal with ambiguity Why join us?
