Our client is a
leading FMCG organisation
seeking to appoint an
Area Manager
to lead and accelerate growth across the
Travel Retail channel in the Gulf region . This is a hands-on, commercially focused role with regional scope. The successful candidate must be
willing to relocate to Dubai, UAE , as the position is
office-based and NOT remote .
The primary purpose of this role is to manage day-to-day operational issues for all
Duty-Free
customers across the GCC, so as to achieve the planned profitability, turnover, market share, and customer satisfaction criteria agreed to. A key component of this is ensuring product visibility, developing and implementing promotional activities and monitoring their effectiveness, and developing and maintaining excellent relationships with all customers.
The key challenge for this role will be to maximize listings and product sales in the various Duty-Free outlets across the GCC and work towards optimal stock levels, whilst maintaining excellent levels of customer service.
What we are looking for?
5–8 years of proven sales experience
managing Duty-Free and Travel Retail customers
Strong presentation, public speaking, and stakeholder engagement skills , with the ability to influence at multiple levels
Solid commercial acumen , with a clear understanding of operating principles, business practices, and performance drivers within a structured FMCG environment
