This position is part of the high-growth Manufacturing & Industrial business portfolio within Global Water Solutions.
This individual will be expected to lead, collaborate, and work closely with cross-functional teams (sales, technical consultants, supply chain, operations, R&D, regulatory and finance) to deliver new customers, strengthen portfolio positioning, and build growth solutions for Manufacturing industries including Automotive, Pharma, Chemicals and other Industrial Utilities-driven business segments.
This role focuses on differentiating Nalco Water chemical programs, driving digital adoption and supporting new product introductions, and translating plant-level operational insights into strategic marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities
· Develop and execute Go-to-Market strategies for Nalco Water’s Manufacturing segment portfolio—boiler & cooling water treatments, process chemicals, industrial cleaning solutions, wastewater programs, and digital monitoring platforms (e.g., 3D TRASAR).
· Drive sales growth and profitability through segment-focused marketing programs, pricing strategies, new product launches, and portfolio optimization.
· Build segment insights for diverse Manufacturing industries
· Lead VOC programs to identify plant-level operational challenges—heat-exchange inefficiencies, scaling/corrosion issues, water reuse, microbial contamination, energy losses, wastewater compliance, asset reliability and sustainability targets.
· Provide sales enablement through application guides, performance models, industrial protocols, case studies, competitive intelligence, and industry-specific training modules.
· Collaborate with Technical Consultants and Field Engineers to understand process requirements (utility loads, heat-transfer needs, etc)
· Stay updated on industry standards and regulatory norms (CPCB, environmental compliance, Zero Liquid Discharge, pharma GMP, water quality guidelines, sustainability frameworks).
· Lead cross-functional project teams involving Engineering, Finance, Regulatory, Technical Services and Sales to deliver customer-centric solutions.
· Prepare performance dashboards, market sizing, competition mapping, segment opportunity assessments, and annual marketing plans.
Minimum Qualifications
· Master’s degree (MBA in Marketing preferred)
· 10+ years of B2B marketing or technical-commercial experience, including at least 5 years in Industrial/Manufacturing sectors such as Automotive, Chemicals, Pharma, etc
· Experience interacting with Senior Executives like Plant Heads, Utilities Managers, Engineering leaders, Safety/Compliance teams and Procurement
Preferred Qualifications
· Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Environmental) or Science with technical depth
· Experience in VOC programs, technical marketing, industrial solutions design, or digital monitoring tools (IoT/automation platforms)
· Knowledge of industrial sector economics and operational benchmarks (e.g., energy efficiency, water KPIs, throughput metrics)
· Strong cross-functional leadership and project management abilities
· Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills in fast-paced environments
· Experience in marketing SaaS based commercial digital products and IOTs
