Role Overview:
The
AI Product Development Trainee
will work across
Business Analytics, Cloud Engineering, and AI & Machine Learning
to contribute to the end-to-end development of AI-powered products such as
HEProAI / HEProAI+ . This role is designed for learners who want hands-on exposure to building real, production-grade AI products—from problem discovery and data analysis to model development, cloud deployment, and business impact measurement.
This is an unpaid and scholarship driven 12 months contractual remote opportunity.
The trainee will actively participate in real-world projects that simulate industry workflows, collaborating with mentors, product teams, and engineers to design, build, deploy, and optimize AI-driven solutions that solve real business problems.
Product Description:
HEPro AI Talent Mapper is an AI-powered platform designed to help learners and professionals discover their strengths, assess skill gaps, and identify optimal learning paths through behavioural assessments and competency mapping. The tool personalizes course and project recommendations to enhance engagement, increase course completion rates, and improve job readiness for users across various fields, including HR, teaching, support, marketing, journalism, administration, software engineering, finance, data science, and business analysis.
HEProAI+ is a hybrid AI-and-human mentoring platform that provides always-on, personalized support for students across academics, health, productivity, and career planning, delivered through a monthly subscription model. It combines intelligent mentor matching, tailored study and assignment guidance, wellness and time-management tracking, and data-driven learning analytics with expert human mentors to offer proactive, wraparound support for every enrolled learner.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Analytics & Product Insight
·
Perform data extraction, cleaning, and exploratory data analysis (EDA) to understand user behaviour, product usage, and business KPIs.
·
Design interactive dashboards using
Power BI / Tableau
to track product metrics such as adoption, engagement, retention, and performance.
·
Translate business problems into analytical and AI-driven solutions aligned with HEProAI product objectives.
·
Generate insight reports and recommendations for product improvement and decision-making.
2. AI & Machine Learning Development
·
Build, train, and evaluate machine learning models for use cases such as prediction, classification, personalization, and automation.
·
Develop deep learning solutions using
CNNs, transfer learning, and transformer-based models (BERT, DistilBERT) .
·
Apply NLP techniques for sentiment analysis, text classification, and insight extraction relevant to AI product features.
·
Optimize models for accuracy, performance, and real-time inference.
·
Expose models through
APIs (Flask/FastAPI)
for integration into HEProAI products.
3. Cloud & DevOps Implementation
·
Design and deploy scalable cloud architectures on
AWS
using services such as EC2, RDS, ALB, VPC, and Auto Scaling.
·
Implement
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
using
Terraform
for repeatable and automated deployments.
·
Containerize AI and analytics applications using
Docker
and deploy them on
Kubernetes
clusters.
·
Build and manage
CI/CD pipelines
for automated testing, deployment, and monitoring.
·
Monitor system health, availability, and performance using tools like
CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana .
4. End-to-End AI Product Development
·
Work on full lifecycle AI product development: ideation → data → model → deployment → monitoring → improvement.
·
Integrate analytics dashboards and AI models into user-facing applications.
·
Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, security, and reliability benchmarks.
·
Participate in agile development practices, sprint planning, reviews, and code walkthroughs.
5. Documentation & Communication
·
Create industry-standard technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and deployment reports.
·
Prepare business-facing reports explaining AI outputs in simple, actionable terms.
·
Present project outcomes, insights, and demos to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
