Software Engineer (AI/Fullstack)

Dutchess Management We're a team of strategists, dealmakers, and problem solvers helping partners like Saks Fifth Avenue, Veeam, and Acronis unlock hidden value. We're not a law firm — we're operators who build innovative solutions to complex business problems. We're looking for a software engineer to own and build AI-powered internal tools and client-facing applications. You'll be working directly with the founding team on greenfield projects, not maintaining legacy code.

What we're looking for Strong AI/LLM experience — you've built production RAG systems, agentic workflows, or LLM-powered applications. Familiar with orchestration frameworks, embeddings, and tool use patterns. This is the core of the role. Comfortable across the stack — can ship a full feature from React/Next.js frontend to Python backend to database Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, serverless, containers) and can make pragmatic build vs. buy decisions Familiar with modern data patterns — relational DBs, vector stores, ORMs Self-directed — we're a small team, you'll have a lot of ownership Good taste — you care about UX, clean code, and shipping things that actually work 3-5 years of professional software engineering experience
