Frontend Developer

Position Overview

The Data Products and Services team leverages modern web technologies and cloud platforms to design, build, and maintain high-quality web applications and data-driven products. We work closely with investment and business teams to deliver intuitive, scalable, and high-performance user interfaces that support critical decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to understand requirements, user needs, and technical constraints - Design, develop, and maintain scalable, production-grade frontend applications using React JS - Build responsive, user-friendly web interfaces with a strong focus on performance and usability - Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and services - Take ownership of the products you and your team work on, ensuring ongoing support, enhancements, and stability - Contribute to improving frontend architecture, coding standards, and development processes

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - 4+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on frontend development - Strong proficiency in JavaScript, React JS, HTML, and CSS - Experience building and maintaining end-to-end web applications - Familiarity with REST APIs and frontend-backend integration - Experience working with modern frontend tooling, version control, and CI/CD pipelines - Excellent communication and collaboration skills - Willingness to learn new tools, frameworks, and technologies as needed

Nice to Have

- Experience with modern React ecosystems (Hooks, Redux, Context API, etc.) - Exposure to performance optimization and scalable frontend architectures - Experience working with large datasets or data-driven user interfaces - Familiarity with cloud-based environments and microservices-oriented system
