Job Summary The

Assistant Manager – Learning & Development

is responsible for designing, implementing, and driving effective learning strategies and programs aligned with organizational objectives. This role requires a strategic and hands-on professional with deep expertise in learning frameworks, instructional design, and capability development to enhance employee performance and foster a culture of continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a comprehensive

Learning & Development (L&D) strategy

aligned with business goals and workforce needs. Conduct

training needs assessments

to identify skill gaps and capability requirements across departments, with a strong focus on the sales function. Independently design and conduct training programs and workshops , including classroom, virtual, and on-field training sessions. Coordinate with

external trainers, facilitators, and vendors

as required, ensuring program quality and

adherence to allocated budgets . Evaluate the

effectiveness of training programs

using feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, and implement improvements where necessary. Collaborate with business leaders to support

sales capability building, leadership development, and talent development initiatives . Travel across India as required

to deliver training programs for the sales team and other business functions. Manage multiple L&D projects simultaneously while ensuring quality, timelines, and outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in

human resources, Education, Psychology, or a related field . Master’s degree or relevant professional certifications in L&D / OD preferred. 8–10 years of progressive experience

in Learning & Development, with a strong blend of strategy and hands-on delivery. Proven experience in

facilitating training programs independently

and managing external training partners. Strong knowledge of

adult learning principles, instructional design models, and learning evaluation frameworks .

while maintaining quality outcomes. Successfully manage and deliver multiple learning projects within agreed timelines.

Preferred Candidate Profile Hands-on L&D professional with strong facilitation skills Experience in

sales training and pan-India rollout programs Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and external partners. Willingness to travel extensively for training delivery
