Tooling Equipment Engineer

Job Role: Tooling Equipment Engineer - Engine Assembly / Powertrain Work Experience: 4 to 7 Years Location: Chennai

Key Responsibilities: Ensure processing and industrialization of production facilities within Engine Assembly in alignment with engineering and manufacturing standards. Lead tooling and equipment setup for assembly lines including sealant dispensing systems and test facilities. Manage installation and commissioning of industrial resources within the assigned perimeter. Plan and monitor investments, budgets, timelines, and performance targets related to production facilities. Coordinate with Project, Maintenance, Manufacturing, and Product teams for seamless execution. Support layout planning, infrastructure setup, and facility enhancements for capacity expansion. Ensure quality compliance, performance optimization, and cost control of assigned equipment. Participate in supplier selection, technical discussions, and installation validation.
