Project Manager – Drilling & Tooling Solutions

Reports To:

Manufacturing Lead

Purpose:

To manage the product lifecycle from concept to delivery, ensuring innovation, client satisfaction, and alignment with business goals in the drilling/tool/manufacturing domain.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define product roadmap and align with technology trends. - Coordinate with design, materials, and manufacturing teams for new product development. - Oversee prototyping, testing, and field trials for performance validation. - Act as primary client interface for 2–3 key accounts, providing status updates and managing expectations. - Ensure end-to-end delivery of client projects, balancing quality, cost, and timelines. - Apply project management principles to handle multiple concurrent projects. - Support IP management and innovation pipeline. - Drive cost optimization and manufacturability improvements.

Qualifications / Skills:

- Bachelor's in Mechanical / Design / Applied Mechanics / Tooling (Master's preferred but not mandatory). - 3–5 years of experience in product development or product management in drilling/tooling/metal products domain. - Working knowledge of CAD and simulation tools (basic proficiency acceptable). - Strong communication and client-facing skills. - Exposure to project management (certification like PMP is a plus). - Ability to work cross-functionally and manage timelines effectively.
