About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and culturally aware

Business Analyst

with strong Japanese language proficiency to bridge communication between our technical teams and Japanese clients. The ideal candidate should not only be fluent in Japanese but also demonstrate a deep understanding and respect for Japanese business culture, etiquette, and work ethics.

Key Responsibilities Act as a primary liaison between Japanese clients and internal technical teams. Gather, analyze, and document business requirements in Japanese and English. Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories. Conduct requirement gathering sessions, stakeholder interviews, and workshops in Japanese. Prepare BRDs, FRDs, SRS documents, and process flow diagrams. Support UAT coordination and client communications. Ensure deliverables align with client expectations and Japanese quality standards. Maintain strong client relationships by demonstrating cultural sensitivity and professionalism.

Required Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N2 or N1 preferred). Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Japanese and English. 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst. Experience working with Japanese clients or on Japan-based projects. Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies. Strong documentation and analytical skills. Ability to handle cross-cultural communication with professionalism and respect.

Preferred Attributes Understanding of Japanese corporate culture, etiquette, and business practices. High attention to detail and commitment to quality. Patience, humility, and structured communication style aligned with Japanese work ethics. Experience in IT/Software/Legal Tech/AI-based solutions (added advantage).
