As a Senior Engineering Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and evolution of our healthcare technology platform. You will lead a talented team of engineers and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable solutions that meet the needs of our users and the healthcare industry. Your expertise in Node.js, React, Express, GraphQL, Postgres, Prisma, Python, AWS, Kubernetes, Typescript, Monitoring, and Observability will be instrumental in shaping the future of our platform.

Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. Architect, design, and develop robust, scalable, and high-performance backend and frontend solutions using Node.js, React, Express, GraphQL, and other relevant technologies. Drive the adoption of best practices in software development, including code reviews, automated testing, continuous integration, and deployment. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define and prioritize features, enhancements, and technical requirements. Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of the platform, implementing monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions. Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and performance tuning for Postgres and other databases. Implement and manage infrastructure as code using AWS services and Kubernetes. Leverage Typescript for type-safe and maintainable codebase. Utilize advanced monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and ELK stack for proactive issue detection and resolution. Explore and evaluate emerging technologies and tools to enhance the platform's capabilities and performance. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with a focus on backend and frontend development. Extensive hands-on experience with Node.js, React, Express, GraphQL, and Postgres. Strong proficiency in Prisma, Python, AWS, Kubernetes, and Typescript. In-depth knowledge of monitoring and observability best practices and tools. Experience with Golang, SQL, ElasticSearch, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and GRPC is a plus. Familiarity with messaging frameworks such as RabbitMQ and Kafka. Prior experience in healthcare technology or related domains is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Extras: Familiarity with healthcare standards and protocols such as FHIR and HL7. Experience with additional technologies like Power BI, further enhancing analytics capabilities.
