Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled CAD Operator with strong expertise in garment drawings and pattern making for Kidswear. The candidate will be responsible for creating detailed CAD sketches, technical drawings, developing patterns, and supporting the sampling and production process.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & CAD Work

- Create detailed CAD sketches and technical drawings for Kidswear garments. - Develop tech packs with measurements, stitching details, trims, and construction guidelines. - Convert hand sketches into digital garment drawings. - Prepare colourways, print placements, and design variations using CAD software.

Pattern Making & Development

- Develop base patterns for Kidswear (boys & girls) across age groups. - Perform grading as per size charts. - Modify patterns based on fit corrections and sample feedback. - Ensure patterns meet production feasibility and quality standards. - Coordinate with sampling team for proto and fit samples.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma/Degree in Fashion Design / Garment Technology / Pattern Making. - 2–5 years of experience in Kidswear apparel industry. - Strong knowledge of CAD software (Rich peace, Optitex). - Proficiency in pattern drafting, grading, and marker making. - Good understanding of garment construction and fabric behaviour. - Knowledge of Kidswear sizing, safety standards, and comfort requirements. - Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
