Role & Responsibilities
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and other web technologies like HTML, CSS, and XML.
Must have 5+ years of experience exclusively in ServiceNow development, and must have worked on multiple modules within the platform (e.g., ITSM, CMDB, HRSD, CSM, etc.).
Experience with scripting on the platform, including server-side scripting (GlideScript) and client-side scripting. o Proven experience with API integrations (REST, SOAP).
Familiarity with database concepts and a strong understanding of the ServiceNow data model.
GlideRecord in server-side scripts , script includes and Business Rules, while GlideAjax is used in Client Scripts. As part of Business Rules, Client Scripts, and Script Includes, we are asking questions regarding the usage of GlideAjax GlideRecord , g_scratchpad
Experience with ServiceNow development tools such as Flow Designer, Studio IDE, and Update Sets.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is highly preferred.
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in a specific module is a plus
Qualifications
The candidates should have good hands-on experience in the ITSM & CMDB modules.
Good Integration experience is required.
Platform Development & Customization:
Design, develop, and configure custom applications, modules, and functionalities on the ServiceNow platform.
Create and customize core applications such as Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, and Knowledge Management.
Develop and implement workflows, UI policies, business rules, client scripts, script includes, and UI actions.
Build and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other third-party systems using REST, SOAP, and other web services.
Configure and manage API integrations to ensure seamless data flow and automation.
Perform system administration tasks, including user management, delegation of groups, and ACLs (Access Control Lists).
Conduct system upgrades, patches, and releases to ensure platform stability and enhancement of functionality.
Monitor the health, usage, and overall compliance of the platform.
