Role Overview
We are seeking a Record to Report (RTR) with strong expertise in financial reporting, accounting, and stakeholder management. The role involves managing a team, driving process excellence, ensuring compliance, and partnering with stakeholders to deliver accurate and timely financial results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Record to Report (RTR) function including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing.
- Ensure accurate accounting, reconciliations, and reporting in compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
- Manage and review journal entries, accruals, provisions, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany accounting.
- Drive process improvements, standardization, and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support audits, compliance, and financial analysis requirements.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and control frameworks.
- Provide guidance, training, and performance management for the RTR team.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of R2R / RTR processes including GL, closing & reporting, reconciliations, and controls.
- Solid understanding of accounting standards (IFRS/US GAAP/IND AS).
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage a team and drive performance.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Chartered Accountant
- Experience: 10–14 years of overall experience with at least 4–5 years in R2R / RTR and team leadership.
- Prior exposure to shared services / global finance operations is highly desirable.
