About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Ambala for the Head of Department (HOD) and Professor in Biotechnology. The role involves leading and managing the academic and administrative functions of the Biotechnology department, guiding research and development activities, teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, mentoring students, and collaborating with other departments. The HOD & Professor will also oversee curriculum development, participate in academic planning, and contribute to the university's growth and reputation.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

- Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Biotechnology or a related discipline is mandatory. - Previous academic experience in similar roles is highly advantageous.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge and expertise in Biotechnology, including teaching and research capabilities. - Proficiency in curriculum development, academic planning, and department management. - Experience in mentoring students and supervising research projects. - Excellent leadership and organizational skills to manage faculty and departmental operations effectively. - Proven track record of publishing research in respected academic journals. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster collaboration within and outside the university.

Preferred Skills

Previous academic experience in similar roles is highly advantageous.
